We read everything and reply to most things within a day or two.
Need a person? Email support@fresh-owl.com. Telling us your iPhone model and iOS version saves a round trip.
Tap the item and edit the date — it takes one tap. FreshOwl always shows you what it read rather than saving it silently, precisely so you can catch this. If a particular pack reads wrong every time, send us a photo of it; badly-printed dates are exactly what we use to improve the reader.
Some dates are printed as faint dots on shiny foil and defeat most readers. You can enter the date by hand, or use the quick "+ days" buttons. FreshOwl will never invent a date it isn't confident about.
When there's no date to read, FreshOwl estimates one from typical shelf-life data for that kind of item, and marks it clearly as an estimate. An estimate can't know how warm your fridge runs or whether a pack has been opened — it's a starting point you can adjust.
No, and there isn't one to make. Your items are stored on your iPhone.
Open Settings inside FreshOwl and tap Restore Purchases. If it still doesn't appear, email us with the Apple ID email you purchased with and we'll sort it.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → FreshOwl. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep Plus until the period you've paid for ends. Your items stay in the app either way — nothing is deleted or locked away.
Plus works with Apple Family Sharing, so one purchase covers your family group. Sharing a single fridge between two iPhones is planned for a later update.
Delete the app. Everything goes with it, because it was only ever on your device.
No. FreshOwl has no accounts and no sign-up, so there is no account to delete and no personal profile held anywhere. Deleting the app removes everything it stored, because all of it was on your device.
Bug reports, feature requests and general opinions are all welcome at support@fresh-owl.com. FreshOwl is built by one person, so you'll be talking to the person who wrote the code.
